I’m a 32-year-old circus performer from Finland. In 2015 I graduated from Salpaus Circus Artist Education (SaSak) specializing in floor acrobatics. In my discipline I aspire to be creative and original. I find inspiration from tricking, capoeira and freerunning. I have a long history of youth circus and parkour training before becoming a professional performer.

During my studies in SaSak, I got a solid foundation of MANY circus disciplines including for example some aerial acrobatics, balancing and juggling. On top of the circus techniques we had different dance classes (jazz, contemporary, ballet) and classes focusing on expression. I really feel that the school helped me in becoming a great performer, and I’m thankful for that!

As my graduation act, I created a piece combining my three passions: acrobatics, parkour and music. I’ve been playing the piano since I was 6-years old and I was really happy that I managed to combine all my favorite things in such a beautiful way. You can find a video of the act in the “Performance” page!

Even though I specialized in acro/parkour, I really enjoyed training club passing, russian bar and teeterboard in SaSak. And still, 10 years after graduation, I’ve kept on finding new disciplines to love. In 2021 we built a wheel of death because why not, and it turned out to be a lot of fun! In 2023 I started to learn the russian cradle, attended to two Cirque Du Soleil NexGen workshops and got invited to the PPP-program in the CDS Headquarters in Montreal!

I feel that becoming a circus generalist was inevitable to me. There’s just so many great disciplines to love that are fun to train. And isn’t having fun while doing what you love the whole point?
